Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is generally from October to May. This period offers pleasant weather, ideal for enjoying the beaches and water sports. Specifically, the months of December to February are considered the absolute peak, with comfortable temperatures and minimal rainfall.
Do's: Travel Responsibly
- Carry Necessary Permits: Foreign Nationals must have the required permits to enter the Islands and Restricted Areas.
- Respect Indigenous Tribes: Avoid entering tribal areas or taking photos of the indigenous people without permission.
- Dispose of Waste Properly: Help keep the beaches and environment clean by using designated trash bins and avoiding littering.
- Wear Helmets & Life Jackets: Always wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler and a life jacket when on boats for safety.
- Get Permission for Photography: Seek permission before taking photos or videos of tourist attractions and local people.
- Enjoy Water Activities Responsibly: Be aware of the swimming areas and avoid swimming under the influence of alcohol or in dangerous areas.

- Engage in Nudity: Nudity on beaches and in public places is strictly forbidden.
- Swim in Dangerous Areas: Avoid swimming in areas marked as dangerous, especially during monsoon season.
- Swim Under the Influence: Do not swim after consuming alcohol, as it is extremely unsafe.
- Light Fires in Forests: Lighting fires in forest areas is strictly prohibited to prevent wildfires.
- Camp on Beaches or in Forests: Camping on beaches or in forests without authorization is not allowed.
- Disturb Marine Life: Avoid touching or damaging coral reefs or harassing marine creatures.
